Sea turtle is one of the most magnificent animals in the ocean. Because of how endangered they are, the mere presence of seat turtle is always a good indicator of the habitat’s overall wellbeing. We have had luck siting them in Hawaii. And now we are blessed to swim along side them again here in Belize.
The only thing is that I have always struggled to get a good photo of them. The main reason is because they are protected and you really don’t want to get too close to them to startle them in their home environment. So we try not to stay too close for too long. And contrary to many who thinks turtle move slowly- sea turtles are quite swift swimmers that not only they swim quite fast, they are also agile enough to make sudden change of direction that actually hit my camera at one point!
