So remember I mentioned the Maroon clownfish has just learned to host the two color bubble anemone I added to the tank two weeks ago? Well, I purchase two red bubble tip anemone two weekends ago and have just moved them from the frag tank to the main display this weekend. Guess who ditched the old anemone for the new ones?
Oh, and after a whole week of elusive play- jumping behind rock to behind another rock, the mandarin dragonet is finally showing his face in the front! And he appears well fed, looking happy! OK, I recall making a post about not having one of these (see here) long time ago. I guess in a way I am eating my own word. But to my defense, this is a 180 gallon tank with very established pod population for a long time and no fish competing with the dragonet for pods.
